Notes:
This quiet picture shows the Pond in its winter drawdown state last March. Notice how much of that far wall is exposed. You can see four courses of granite block, and the huge stones below them. Look at that apron of crushed stone in front of the spillway. You can also see the concrete sidewalls framing the sluiceway.
That was a week before the rains came - and raised the level of the Pond 24 inches overnight.
